G-MEN
As men, we recognise that true manhood is synonymous with Christ-likeness. We therefore aspire to reflect the true image of God in all aspects of our lives.
Firstly, we acknowledge that our true essence is a direct result of our relationship with God. We therefore seek to be godly men: to be men after God's own heart; to walk with God; to live a life that pleases Him; and to know and love Him more and more each day.
Secondly, we acknowledge that our effectiveness is a direct result of our relationship with people – our family, friends and the society at large. We therefore seek to be gentlemen – to be men of steel and velvet: to combine strength and sensitivity; courage and compassion; and to demonstrate that true masculinity is more than muscles.
Thirdly, we acknowledge that our true significance is a direct result of our relationship with ourself. We therefore seek to be great men; men who are secure in their identity and yet aspire to be all that God has called them to be.
We make a commitment to be men of integrity, to live full and exceeding lives and to make a mark on our generation that cannot be erased.
