KAREN OGUNKO

Karen Ogunko was born into a Christian family and her parents took her to church regularly. At the age of 23, Karen Ogunko had a dream in which she was starkly warned to give her life to the Lord before it was too late. From then, she had the urge to get planted into a church and on 24th April 1994, Karen Ogunko received the gift of salvation. In April 2005, Karen received the gift of the Holy Spirit.

In her former church, Karen held the position of Assistant Leader of the Women's Ministry. She sought after the welfare of the women in the church by organising events, conferences, and prayer meetings. Karen Ogunko was also called into the community to help local women in distress.
Karen’s overwhelming passion is to see that hurting and dying souls receive the gift of salvation. She believes that God has called her for such a time as this.

Karen is currently using the gifts, talents, many years of experience from her life’s journey and all the teaching at New Wine International, to further advance the Kingdom of God as she co-pastors New Wine Church Dartford.

Karen’s vision for the future is to see the world living together in harmony and everyone loving their neighbour as themselves, just like Christ encouraged us to do.

Karen Ogunko is married to Dr Ayodele Ogunko and they have five children: Sarah, Darren, Ana, Adrian and Samuel.
