Psalm 119:153-160 with Owolabi Komolafe

The psalmist was in great pain and distress, but he did not attempt to solve his problems through sheer effort or self-confidence, like he’d seen the wicked do. Instead, he spoke to the Lord about his situation. He asked the Lord to defend, redeem, and preserve him, based on the promises he knew from God’s Word. He knew about God’s loving compassion, and this gave him confidence.
