Romans 10 with Bethia Taiwo

Paul's heartfelt prayer and desire is for Israel to be saved. No one can save themselves by works. Good works was not enough to send a person to heaven. Question: Why have the Israelites not confessed the Lordship of Jesus and believed in His resurrection?
