PASTOR MIKE OMOLE

Mike Omole grew up in a community that loved the show of power and usually in competition with the people of God. It was a community where even men of God believed they needed fiendish and diabolical powers to fulfil their ministry.

As a child, he believed God though there was a lot of confusion because of the mixing of what is godly and what is cultural but his faith in God was firm. He believed that the Lord has called him out of darkness that he may declare His praises by reaching one person at a time.  This has been his lifestyle even at a time when he did not have a deep knowledge of God’s grace.

In August 1981 at the end of a fellowship meeting, Ephesians 2:8 & 9 became meaningful that faith is no faith at the exclusion of grace and that the good news of the kingdom is simple. He committed to trusting God and God has never failed him. He became more involved in his church Mount Bethel, especially in outreach, mission in the UK, and publishing.

Mike Omole and his family decided to join New Wine in 1999 because of the extraordinary warm reception, the existence of an outreach team and house fellowship.

Mike Omole who holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Diplomatic Studies worked in diplomatic service for twenty years before going into business.

Mike was ordained a Pastor on the 3rd of January 2021 and he is the Pastor of New Wine Church, Gravesend, Kent, England. His maxim is found Luke 9:24 The Message Bible which says “Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my (Jesus) way, to finding yourself, your true self".
