With gratitude to God for a life well spent, we announce the transition to eternal glory of Pastor Olufemi Lawani, the former Pastor of our Dartford Branch. He was released officially from New Wine Church into the next phase of his assignment in 18th December 2022 but remained a close friend of the ministry.
Pastor Femi Lawani was the pioneering Pastor of New Wine Church, Dartford, United Kingdom, which was planted in 2015.

He held a Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB Hons) from the University of Huddersfield, UK and a Master's degree in International Project Management from Anglia Ruskin University also in the UK.

He was a successful businessman with a number of companies under his control.

Pastor Femi first attended New Wine Church on 31st December 2003 and became a full member in 2006. He served in the Ushering department before he was ordained as a Pastor to pioneer the branch in Dartford.
His overriding spiritual mission was to raise and equip the next generation of believers who are purposeful, objective, practical and successful through the teaching of the undiluted truth of God’s word and visionary and exemplary leadership and mentoring.

He was the author of the book ‘What About Tomorrow’? A Practical Guide For The Purposeful Youth.

He was married to his precious wife, Grace Omotayo Lawani and they are blessed with four children.
