TRANSITION OF HER MAJESTY, QUEEN ELIZABETH II

21st  April  1926 - 8th September 2022

The leadership and members of New Wine Church send our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family on the transition of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

Her Majesty was the epitome of steadfastness, resilience and a beacon of hope for over 70 years as the United Kingdom navigated the immense challenges of the Second World War, rapid technological and social changes, global political and economic upheavals and personal tragedy.

Throughout the myriad challenges both in her personal family and as the longest reigning monarch in British history for the United Kingdom and over 14 other countries, she demonstrated an unwavering dedication to God, strong commitment to the Christian faith and loving service to her people.

It was indeed a privilege and pleasure to have our choir, the Sounds of New Wine participate in the song, “Rise up & Serve” to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth’s reign.

We celebrate her life and thank God for her incredible service to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth and pray for God’s peace and comfort for all the Royal Family in this season. We also pray that God will comfort the hearts of the citizens of this nation who loved Her Majesty and mourn her passing.

It is our heartfelt prayer that God will guide the Royal Family and the leaders of this great nation, the United Kingdom, as we navigate the days ahead and transition into the next season. May your Kingdom come O Lord, and your will alone be done on earth as it is in heaven.
